How long do NUFACE devices last?

Device lifespan can vary based on use and care; We recommend charging the device battery even when not in daily use. 

How are devices manufactured?

Devices are designed in the USA & manufactured in Mexico. NUFACE manufactures within Good Manufacturing Practices & in accordance with FDA regulations.

What is the device voltage / power supply?

All NUFACE devices have a power supply o f100-240 vac, 50/60 Hz.

What are the output voltages of each device?

The Trinity+ & Mini+ are both 335 microamps, while the FIX MicroWand is 200 microamps. 

Can I use NUFACE devices if I have piercings?

While it's not necessary, we recommend removing piercings for ease of use and peace of mind during treatments. For larger pins and plated in the facial or body area, we recommend consulting your physician before use. Common contraindications can be located here.

Do you have any dental contradictions?

We do not have any contraindication to use NUFACE device with braces or dental implants. A full list of common contraindications can be located here.

Are devices safe to use with a copper IUD?

While not listed in contraindications, we advise speaking with your physician about any additional health concerns before use.

Can I use NUFACE devices during breastfeeding?

NUFACE devices are safe to use if not pregnant and in good health, post-partum, and breastfeeding.

Are NUFACE devices TGA-approved?

No, since our devices are not considered therapeutic devices, they are not subject to requirements of TGA.

What does it mean that NUFACE devices have a 510(k)-certification class II device?

Our devices have been tested and found to be in compliance with FDA's performance standards; our devices were also tested and found to be in compliance with the EU declaration of Conformity under the EMC and Safety standards.

Is it safe to travel with devices? TSA?

NUFACE devices are TSA-approved and sage to take on a plane, both in your carry on or checked luggage.
