How does Silk Crème have sunflower seed oil when oil blocks microcurrent?Updated 7 months ago
It's all about the amount of oil in the formula that matters! Any lotion will have an oil as a part of an emulsion, so it is a matter of finding balance to achieve the right conductivity value. Anhydrous (water-less) formulas that are all oil/waxes will impede or block the conduction of microcurrent. However, our formulations that contain water are designed in a way that the conductivity of current is optimized and the emollients like Sunflower Oil and Shea Butter are formulated so that the overall formula conducts current in an optimal and efficacious way.
